About the Role
Are you ready to take ownership of key financial processes and contribute to the success of an international organization? We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team during a parental leave period. The role involves full responsibility for the parent company and two operating entities within the Nimbus Group, operating in manufacturing and sales.
By default, we are looking for temporary employee with one year fixed term employment but it is possible to continue the employment on permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities
Manage general ledger activities, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of account reconciliations and journal entries.
Lead and coordinate the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, working cross-functionally with management, business control, and other departments to ensure reporting accuracy.
Prepare financial statements in compliance with Swedish GAAP and IFRS standards.
Contribute to the preparation of the Group’s external reports, quarterly reports, and annual report.
Prepare and review VAT, tax returns, and support statutory audits.
Assist in maintaining and improving internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Drive process improvements and support automation initiatives within finance.
Handle a wide range of tasks, from routine activities to more complex accounting matters.
Key Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent professional qualification.
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in an international and/or manufacturing environment.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems; Monitor and/or Capego experience is an advantage.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills in Swedish and English.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
