About the Role
We are looking for a result-driven Group Procurement Manager with a hands-on approach, strong execution skills, and the ability to drive change across a multi-site manufacturing environment.
We offer a key role with significant impact on cost, supplier performance, and procurement excellence across the Group.
Reporting & Organization: Reports to the Group COO and is part of the Group Operations organization.
Location: Preferably based in Lugnås (Mariestad), Sweden, near one of the Group's manufacturing sites, or alternatively at the Group Headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Key Responsibilities
Group Sourcing and Supplier Agreements
Negotiate and establish group-wide agreements with strategic suppliers.
Lead major cost reduction initiatives.
Consolidate the supplier base where it creates value.
Evaluate and onboard new suppliers.
Ensure the Group's purchasing power is fully leveraged.
Manage key supplier relationships and lead commercial negotiations.
Operational Management of External Manufacturing Partners
Drive purchasing-related matters through the procurement organizations of external manufacturing partners.
Ensure negotiated prices are implemented at external production facilities.
Follow up on agreed cost savings to ensure they translate into actual product cost reductions.
Actively participate in supplier meetings and business reviews.
Ensure compliance with the Group's purchasing strategy.
Manage escalations related to pricing, supplier selection, quality, and delivery performance.
Support and Governance of Internal Manufacturing Sites
Responsible for:
Supporting local procurement organizations.
Challenging purchasing decisions and supplier strategies.
Ensuring manufacturing sites operate in accordance with Group policies and guidelines.
Developing KPIs and performance follow-up models.
Identifying cost reduction opportunities.
Ensuring accurate price updates in ERP systems and product costing models.
Performance Monitoring and Governance
Establish a structured performance management model across all manufacturing sites.
Monitor and follow up on:
Price development
Cost savings
Delivery performance
Supplier dependencies
Inventory development
Purchasing deviations
Ensure that decisions are translated into concrete actions and delivered results.
